1. Are you looking for doctors to join the network?
Yes, constantly. Our medical team is growing every day in order to increase our ability to meet all our patients needs and requirements.
2. Where is DNAMedico's main Center located?
Our main Center is in Milan. We plan to add additional centers in other cities in order to reduce distances.
3. What kind of specialization are you looking for? Is there a particular one?
Internal medicine and genetic medicine are our main focus but all specializations will be considered to realize our multidisciplinary approach.
4. Is there a particular approach to working with general practitioners, the "family doctors"?
DNAMedico has been established to value family doctor`s work and restore the importance of General Medicine. We would be more than happy to collaborate with them.
5. What is your philosophy towards care? Is there a difference between you and other public/private health institutions?
It's better to keep a person healthy by investing early and often in his or her health and well-being rather than suggesting treatments to a patient once a disease has emerged. We are not aware of any other institutions with this kind of approach yet.
6. Are you considering open-ended/fixed-term contract ?
We want you to be economically secure and available to focus on the patient. Proper remuneration will be the basis for every job well done.
7. May I suggest DNAMedico's platform to my patients? Is there an advantage for me?
Your patients can become part of DNAMedico's Network and all will benefit, with the patient in first consideration.
8. Can I manage the relationship with patients on my own?
Our philosophy is that a team of physicians will provide the best service for our patient: only a team alongside the patient, never a single doctor.
9. Don't you think it's a bit premature to talk about DNA testing for all patients?
We are convinced the information provided by DNA testing allows physicians to see into their patient's future and dispense preventative medicine in order to prepare them to avoid "hidden risks".
Would you agree with us on the existence of some limits to modern Medicine?
Have you noticed a sense of uncertainty/distrust from your patients in regards to current medical procedures and treatments?
Do you believe in "traditional" Clinical Methodology?
Would you agree with us when we say that today's Medicine should also provide for the genetic make-up of the patient to have a deeper understanding of his/her individual needs?
Are you interested in genetics and predictive medicine?
Would you agree that a multidisciplinary approach is mandatory to obtaining a better and more efficient baseline of the patient's health?
Would you agree that the job of a physician should be better respected and more effectively managed, due to the very particular range of responsibilities and the necessary ongoing sacrifices?
